Sushi Fukushima

We had a nice dining experience here during our stay in Osaka. One of the staff members spoke good English and we were able to converse about the chef and the food. The space felt a bit tight. There were a couple of interesting dishes and we certainly did not leave hungry. However, the sushi did not taste that fresh, which was surprising and disappointing. The soup was almost gravy like served without any protein in it. We appreciated the effort that the chef and team put into the meal, though, the Mario imitation and the swords seemed gimmicky to us. Overall, we did have a nice dining experience here even though we think the food should be better in this price range and in this fabulous food city.

Excellent experience! First of all we did the VIP menu and the food was great.. fresh..tasty..great texture. The uni was fabulous. Chef Taisho was impeccable, thank you! The plus of this place is the entertainment, you are going to be surprised. Thank you Chef and see you in Italy

Chef Seiki Yamasaki is incredible! The sushi dinner was outstanding, with more than 18 different dishes, each prepared with fresh, unique, and flavorful ingredients. Chef Seiki is not only skilled but also funny and entertaining, which made the experience even more memorable. We truly enjoyed a special sushi evening in Osaka. Thank you to Chef Seiki and the entire team for making it so wonderful!

I was surprised with this for my anniversary and I thought this omakase was going to be a whole serious affair but it ended up being a joyful experience! Food wise, it was my favourite meal in Japan but what really made this experience great was the synergy of the staff, together with the customers! 2 families with many young kids came in, and I had thought it was going to disturb the experience but the staff made it so welcoming and fun for them that it was even just so lovely to witness and be part of the joy. Thank you everyone for this!

Our first Omakase experience was very enjoyable! Friendly for English speakers and a laid-back environment. If you want to try a variety of higher end sushi at a reasonable price point, definitely recommend this place!

amazing meal by masa-san. seafood was the freshest it couldve been, staff were very welcoming. masa-san is also very accommodating for our preferences. highly recommended to book if you’re around the area

Very nice dinner tonight! Very lucky to make a same-day reservation for the counter seat. Meals are delicious with super fresh fish and great vinegar sushi rice. People here are also super friendly. Had pretty nice conversations with them and learned a lot about Japan. Certainly would recommend this place!

This place not only fills your stomach but also your soul. It provides a much needed break from life. Food is amazing, the staff and the chef are very fun, hospitable, and accommodating! The course menu is very well thought out. This place provides a fun and friendly Osaka experience and the price is also very reasonable!
